Literally turn your back on traditional running. Backward running is the way to move forward with experts saying it burns more calories, increases balance, hearing and peripheral vision. CNN reports that backward walking and running dates back to the 1970s, when runners practiced it while injured. Doctors later recommended it as part of physical therapy and it's often used by baseball pitchers or track runners in preliminary warm-ups.

According to country's main animal welfare body, Australia is leading in increasing number of obese pets. Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), says that the people show the love by overfeeding their pets thus posing them to increased risks of death.

A woman who was spanked during a camaraderie-building exercise at work is awarded $1. 7 million on Friday. The Associated Press reports a jury found that Janet Orlando, 53, was sexually harassed and a victim of sexual battery when she was paddled in front of her colleagues at Alarm One Inc.

A California woman who was spanked in front of her co-workers as part of "a camaraderie-building exercise" asked a jury Wednesday for at least $1. 2 million for the humiliation she claimed to have suffered. Janet Orlando, 53, quit her job at the home security company Alarm One Inc. in Fresno and sued, alleging discrimination, assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress.
