Usually when visiting an art exhibit, patrons are invited to look, but not touch. However, an exhibit in Miami hopes rule-breakers will not only touch, but taste as well.

Visionaire art magazine hosted an exhibit Saturday and Sunday inviting visitors to a "taste bar" featuring small strips that dissolve in your mouth. Artwork is paired with each flavor, strategically placed above each strip.

''It's very Willy Wonka,'' John Steele of Visionaire told the Associated Press, likening the exhibit to the scene in Roald Dahl's ''Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,'' where a character experiences a three-course meal in a stick of gum.

The strips are meant to be representative of each piece of art accompanying it. Visionaire partnered with International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. to create the strips.

For example, there is a condensed milk flavored strip accompanying a photograph by Yoko Ono of a woman's breast. The strip/exhibit combo is entitled, "Mommy". The exhibit will be on display in the Visionaire exhibit space until February.
