Rajesh Abbot, 33, a self-style sexologist or sex doctor, was shot dead by a patient suffering from depression in the Indian capital. According to the Hindustan Times, depressed patient Javed Ali on Sunday pumped seven bullets into the self-styled sexologist who had been treating him for two years.

During a routine afternoon jump, a woman slipped from her harness when her parachute deployed and fell to her death. The woman, 44, of Westchester, Pa was a first time diver. She reportedly took lessons with the AerOhio Skydiving School near Sterling.

In an attempt to better understand what their dogs barking is all about, several dog owners have been given lessons in order to learn how to translate their pets' woofs from their bow wows. A British vet and dog behaviorist is training pet owners to give them expert advice in order to cut down on the number of complaints received by local authorities by noisy dogs.

Maximiliano Arellano, from Mexico City, is a child prodigy who according to reports has already been has been studying medicine on his own.

A bear that was shot and killed last month in Canada has been confirmed by a DNA test to be a grizzly-polar hybrid, the first known documented case of this kind of bear found in the wild. An Inuit tracker from the Northern Territories thought the American hunter he was guiding had probably shot a hybrid bear after he saw that its fur was white with brown spots.
