A 43-year-old man from Colorado man faces a felony theft charge in the disappearance of more than 1,300 women's undergarments near the Colorado State University campus. Police arrested Chih Hsien Wu for stealing panties, sports bras, stretch pants, and pantyhose from apartment complex laundry rooms in the Campus West area between September 23 and May 18.

Officials from Miami Beach, Florida are exploring ways to outsource new sand from foreign beaches after the usual methods of replenishing the beaches has dried up. New beaches from where sand could be exported include the shores of Dominican Republic, the Turks and Caicos Islands and Mexico, the Christian Science Monitor reported Wednesday.

A 40-year-old armless and one legged man, who led authorities on a high speed vehicle chase, has been arrested by police. It was not the first time Michael Francis Wiley eluded police on Tuesday as he was also held for a similar crime in 1998 when he led police on a 120 mph chase. According to AP reports, the recent incident took place on Tuesday when Wiley sped off in a Ford Explorer when police approached him at a convenience store. The officers later decided to call off the chase after eight minutes because they did not want to put others in danger.

A 19-year-old Kalona teenager faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted of throwing a firecracker inside a Coralville mall in Iowa on April 16th this year. Police charged Travis Grout with first-degree arson, public intoxication and interference with official acts for an incident at Coral Ridge Mall after a witness saw him lighting a three-inch long firecracker.

An Oregon mother looking for a jacket on the online auction site, eBay, found one that looked exactly like the one her daughter lost at school. Why? It was the same jacket. In January, the mother of a third grade student in Hillsboro, Oregon visited her daughter's school more than once to try and find a missing Columbia Sportswear jacket.
