On January 10, 2007, the FBI hosted its first workshop, "FBI - Crime Essential for Writers" at the Federal Building in Westwood. Betsy Glick, FBI public affairs specialist, is one of the creators of the workshop. According to her, the FBI has aided in the content in over 659 projects in film, books, and television.

The Argentinian eBay has quickly removed a post to auction off alleged stolen mobile phone of American President George W. Bush's daughter, Barbara. The phone was made available for auction online on the Mercado Libre Web site, with a starting price of $334.

A prostitute helps nab a policeman who forced her to have sex with him by stealing his badge. When officer Michael LoPriore called her to get his badge back, the FBI was listening in on the call. LoPriore, 37, was charged with depriving the woman of her rights by using his position to force her to perform sex acts in his car.
