Frustrated of tailgaters during rush hour, a woman pulled out a gun and shot at the tires of a pickup that got too close. Though the bullet missed the pickup and no one was hurt, she has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, discharge of a firearm from a vehicle and use of a firearm during a felony.

According to police reports, the incident took place on Wednesday when Bernadette Headd was in rush hour traffic in suburban Detroit when the pickup pulled behind her.

AP reports that the 39-year-old woman, who had a permit to carry a concealed weapon, immediately changed lanes and fired one round from a 9 mm handgun. She was then followed by the driver who flagged down a deputy.

The police then stopped her and found the weapon. Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel said that Headd confessed she was "tired of people tailgating her." She was ordered held on a $50,000 bond.
