A freak accident killed a Brazilian policeman in the city of Belo Horizonte on Monday. Thiago Ribeiro Trindade, 23, went into a car parts shop to buy a light. When he placed his backpack on the counter, it exploded and killed him.

Police in the German city of Stuttgart said Saturday that a pet iguana turned on a water faucet while its owner was away, flooding his apartment and causing extensive damage to the ones below it. The iguana, which is female and measures at about three feet long, turned on the faucet using its tail. The water managed to get to the basement of the building before neighbors called the police.

A cottage in Ireland, which is about 200 square feet and has no electricity, is selling for about $145,100. The Neptune Cottage also has a toilet with no sewage outlet, according to Reuters. The cottage faces the beach, however, it also backs up to the Dublin-Rosslare railroad tracks. It is divided into two rooms and has an outside chemical toilet.

If you thought property prices in New York and San Francisco were bad, check out the cost of a 200 square foot home in Ireland. Named Neptune Cottage, it has no electricity, no toilet and no sewage capabilities. But it is selling for $145,000 in Ireland's Wicklow county, reports Reuters.
