A nursing home nurse is thought to have killed at least six patients in 2006 by administering fatal drug cocktails. Marty Himebaugh reportedly made comments to co-workers that aroused suspicion. According to CBS news, Himebaugh allegedly told one colleague about a 56-year-old Down syndrome man that "These people aren't meant to live that long. They are meant to die in their teens. And I'm going to help him along. "

The toilets in the basement of the student union building at the University of Manchester will get something new in the name of political correctness, posting signs on the restroom doors that say "toilets with urinals," and "toilets. "The signs are simply stuck over the universal symbol of a male, with his pant legs and a female, with the traditional triangular dress. This way, they say, transgender people will be able to choose which restroom to use with out feeling obligated to comply to being a gender they do not identify with.

German researchers have found that smelling good stuff like flowers and fragrance gives you pleasant emotions in your dreams. Researchers from the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim, Germany analyzed the sleep of 15 female volunteers for 30 nights. The scientists exposed them to high doses of smelly air for 10 seconds before rousing them out of sleep one minute later.

Although the black bears in North Carolina should have plenty of food this fall, since the acorns aren't ready yet some of them are going after birdseed in the yards of homes. A female black bear and its cub recently climbed a 20-foot wall in broad daylight to break into a bird feeder on the porch of a home in Asheville, North Carolina.
