Ferrari chose to honor Pope Benedict by giving him a steering wheel from a Formula One racing car on Monday.
Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo held a private audience with the pontiff, where he gave the present inscribed with; "The steering wheel of the Formula 1 World Champion to His Holiness Benedict XVI, the driver of Christianity."
Montezemolo also gave a check to the pontiff of 950,000 euros, which will go to charity, reports Reuters.
