The City of Cleveland is firing back at Fiji water, after they ran an ad poking fun at the city.

A new ad, run nationally in magazines like Esquire, contends, "The label says Fiji because it's not bottled in Cleveland."

After seeing the ad, city public utilities director Julius Ciaccia decided to put the two waters to the test.

According to the Associated Press, the results found 6.31 micrograms of arsenic per liter in the Fiji bottle, said Cleveland water quality manager Maggie Rodgers. Cleveland tap water as well as bottled brands Aquafina, Dasani and Evian had no measurable arsenic.

Now, Cleveland water commissioner J. Christopher Nielson says, "Before you take a cheap shot at somebody, know what you're talking about."

However, Fiji president Edward Cochran lived near Cleveland in his youth, and says the ad is merely a joke. Cochran says, "It is only a joke. We had to pick some town."
