An elderly woman and her dog were set ablaze after being doused with gasoline last Friday allegedly by her son. According to reports on Sunday, the 78-year-old woman survived the ordeal but suffered second and third degree burns covering half of her body. She is in critical condition.

Upon the couple's return, the boy, whose name is not being released because he is a minor, began firing at his mother, shooting her multiple times.

A 15-year-old boy doing a paving job here Friday after accidentally being buried by hot asphalt that suddenly unloaded from a truck.
