A high school chemistry teacher is charged with insurance fraud and arson, after giving two failing students passing grades if they agreed to steal and burn her car so she could collect insurance money. Aldine Senior High School's Tramesha Lashon Fox was $20,000 behind on car payments.

A fire department truck slams into Buffalo City Hall, causing no major damages, except for a big scrape of red paint along the building's wall. According to fire department officials, a mobile air-unit truck, used to recharge breathing apparatus, was headed toward a downtown mall after receiving reports of smoke.

According to a company spokeswoman, Walt Disney officials consulted feng shui experts before building Hong Kong Disneyland. Disney tilted the park several degrees and set up "no fire zones" in kitchens, to maintain a balance of the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire and earth throughout the park.

It's sounds like the plot from the Shawshank Redemption, L. A. Police are searching for an inmate they believe escaped through a hole he dug in his cell wall. Reuters reports the robbery suspect managed to cut an opening in the wall of his cell and escape through a 15-by-9-inch hole in just an hour.
