China's first astronaut, Yang Liwei, is likely to act in a charity movie produced by filmmaker Tsui Hark.
The movie will raise funds for deprived children in China and is set to open during the Lunar New Year.

Yang went to space in October 2003. Since then, he has become a national icon.
The cast is comprised of more than 30 celebrities and some of China's biggest sports stars.
The film will feature gymnast-turned-businessman Li Ning, who won three gold medals at the 1984 Olympic Games. It also includes roles for Olympic shooter Wang Yifu, gymnast Liu Xuan and actor Sun Honglei.
