A fish caught in an east German lake manages to lure a fisherman - to his death.

A spokeswoman for police in Eisenhuettebstadt, says the fish pulled the rod out of the 46-year-old man's hands and dragged it away from shore. That's when the man took off his clothes and swam to retrieve the pole.

An eyewitness says the man was able to grab the rod floating on the surface, but suddenly stopped moving. The unidentified witness swam to help him, pulling the fisherman back to shore, where he was later pronounced dead.
