A 15-pound lobster was released into the water after living in the lobster tank at Angelica's Restaurant in Bethlehem for a month. The restaurant's owner, Fred Cunha, had bought Monstro from a fishing boat in mid-October. Monstro is 37 inches and has 15-inch claws. Cunha estimates that he is 50 years old. A lobster so large and old is no ordinary thing.

A Florida couple fished for hours but didn't catch anything, except a drowning dog. Motoring their 23-foot fishing boat earlier this month on Florida Bay, Ray Truche Jr. and Lisa Largrassa suddenly felt they had hit something in the water. The couple leaned over the boat to find a fat cairn terrier named Tigger. The 5-year-old Tigger had apparently fallen overboard from Diane and Richard Beckman's boat during their trip from Key Largo to Marathon, The Key West Citizen reported Monday.

A teen who was fishing in Stockport, Manchester caught a deadly piranha. The man-eating fish is normally feared in its natural habitat in South America. Josh Boyle, 14, was at his usual fishing spot when he reeled in the sharp-toothed predator. He then held the fish at arm's length while his friend took a photograph.
