A couple of roommates received quite a surprise when they received an electric bill asking for almost $100,000.

The two individuals, who shared a single-room mobile home, were reportedly stunned and confused as to how they managed to owe that much money.

Upon calling the Tampa Electric Co., they were reportedly told to either pay their bill or risk getting their electricity cut off.

However, a representative from the local electric company later said the bill was a mistake and could be fixed.
