A SkyWest Airlines passenger, who wasn't allowed to use the restroom during a one-hour flight, ended up relieving himself in an airsickness bag. James Whipple, who said he had two "really big beers" before boarding his Salt Lake City - bound flight on March 7, said he had no other choice after the captain did not permit him to use the restroom.

SkyWest Airlines has apologized to Whipple for the inconvenience caused, as the cabin restroom was declared off-limits after the light stopped working there. Though Whipple used the cabin restroom before the plane departed but had to go again.

He finally reached for the airsickness bag without being noticed by any passenger. However, a flight attendant became suspicious and reported the matter to the captain, who called airport police.

According to The Salt Lake City Tribune, Whipple was allowed to leave after answering some questions and was also given a flight voucher as an apology.
