Florida police arrested a man Friday that allegedly tried to get a kiss from the bank teller, along with the loot.

After allegedly attacking a Bank of America security guard outside of the bank, Fort Lauderdale police say Deatrick Daniel, 27, ran into the bank building and struggled with the bank manager, who was trying to call 911, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

Police say Daniel punched the manager in the face and then jumped behind the counter, brandishing a semiautomatic handgun, which he used to force one of the tellers to open the cash drawer.

After retrieving $9,000, Daniel stole away to the break room with the teller and asked for a kiss.

With the help of bank employees and customers, police found Daniel just moments later in a yard nearby. He was arrested and charged with bank robbery. He is being held at the Broward Mail Jail, but he will eventually be moved to the Federal Detention Center in Miami, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

The teller didn't reveal whether or not she smooched with the robber.
