The city beaches in Fort Lauderdale, Florida will soon be equipped with high-tech automated toilets that welcome its users with a polite greeting and also soothe them with light music during the process.

The computerized toilets are expected to cost between $250,000 and $350,000 for a single-toilet restroom. The city commissioners voted Tuesday in favor of paying $25,259 to an engineering firm to design the site.

According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel this high-tech toilet comes with a self-cleaning mechanism and a system that opens the doors and sets off a siren if a user collapses while doing their business. Also, the toilet door also opens automatically after a designated time period.

The musical toilet, which would be a first in Florida, is already common in other countries and are currently being used in Atlanta, Seattle, Boston, New York and San Francisco.
