Florida Bank Robber Also Tried To Steal A Kiss
Florida police arrested a man Friday that allegedly tried to get a kiss from the bank teller, along with the loot. After allegedly attacking a Bank of America security guard outside of the bank, Fort Lauderdale police say Deatrick Daniel, 27, ran into the bank building and struggled with the bank manager, who was trying to call 911, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.
Woman Arrested For Attacking Smoker With Air Freshener
A woman was arrested Aug. 21 for attacking another woman, a smoker, with a can of air freshener. Police were called to an apartment complex in Niceville, Fla. where they found a woman spraying a 9 ounce can of "Glade Potpourri Air Freshener" around another woman's head, the Northwest Florida Daily News of Fort Walton Beach reported.
Fund Manager Who Faked Own Death In Plane Crash To Be Sentenced
Marcus Schrenker, the investment adviser who has pleaded guilty to faking his death early this year, is set to be sentenced on Wednesday. The 38-year-old fund manager was charged in January with making a false distress call and willfully wrecking his plane. He admitted guilt in June.
Florida Man Charged For Trying To Steal Data From 130 Million Credit, Debit Cards
The U.S. Attorney's office in New Jersey on Monday charged a man from Miami. Florida and two suspects in Russia for trying to steal data from 130 million credit and debit cards by hacking corporate computers. The attempt of Albert Gonzalez, 28, and the unidentified accomplices to steal the numbers and account information from the credit card data systems of Princeton-based card payment processor Heartland Payment Systems Inc., convenience store 7-Eleven Inc., and supermarket chain Hannaford Brothers Co., is believed to be the largest credit card theft in the U.S.
Florida Man Who Threw Pizza At Daughter Faces Felony
A Gainesville man was arrested after allegedly throwing a slice of pizza at his daughter's head after they exchanged words in a fight. Police said the 38-year-old father told the girl, using racial and sexual expletives, to turn off the music on a computer late Thursday night, the Gainesville Sun reported.
