One control tower operator thought it was amusing when a United Airlines supervisors called to ask if they saw a spinning saucer shoot into the clouds last fall. Reports of the UFO citing are just now being released. Several United employees, including a pilot, said they saw a saucer-shaped object hover over O'Hare Airport and then disappear into the clouds. Control tower employees said they saw nothing.

They said the Black Australian Swan has been showing all the typical signs of love for its species, circling the plastic boat, staring endlessly at it and making crooning noises. The unusual behavior of the swan has compelled authorities to move the bird and the boat to a zoo.

A weary young golden eagle, a species rarely seen in Wisconsin, was nursed back to full strength and returned to the wild Friday. The young bird was spotted feeding on a deer carcass Oct. 22 at the Sheboygan Marsh Park and Wildlife Area. It was surprised by the sudden appearance of the human, Shawn Forrest, who saw it, CNN reported Friday.
