Cornwall, CT (AHN)-Authorities say the son of billionaire oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens was charged with burglary after he was found hiding under a table in a fly fishing shop. Following his arraignment in Bantam Superior Court on Monday, 51-year-old Michael Pickens spent three days in jail.

According to the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), Dr. Martin Arostegui caught the heaviest fish ever documented on fly tackle, beating out a nearly 40-year-old record.

A bald eagle tussling mid- flight with another eagle - likely in a springtime courtship ritual - had to be rescued when it got wedged in the crotch of a maple tree. Ryan Ellifson, a warden with the state Department of Natural Resources, said the birds may have flown too low during courting maneuvers Sunday afternoon. He noted the other eagle kept circling overhead after the male got stuck.
