A Knoxville Hooters customer who was upset over his bill shot several times into the restaurant, injuring a manager and another customer. Police were still looking for the man. Managers asked the man to leave after he refused to pay the tab because he was upset over the total. He then went outside and started firing shots from a . 40-caliber handgun at the restaurant.

A one-year-old cheetah in the St. Louis Zoo escaped from its exhibit Monday, stumping zoo officials the day after as to how it was able to do so. According to zoo staff, the cheetah must have managed to go over a wall at least 10 foot in height, before arriving at a rocky area that served as a separator between people and animals at the River's Edge exhibit.

A dog who was recently neutered reportedly returned to the office of the veterinarian responsible for performing the operation on him. Dr. Steve Walstad said that upon driving past his office he found Radar, a black, mix-breed dog, lying in front of the Animal Clinic.

U. S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers have detained a driver and a man they found hiding in a suitcase. A CBP officer made the discovery at the Paso Del Norte port of entry in El Paso a little after midnight. The huge suitcase was in the back seat of a 1997 Ford Escort that entered the port from Mexico.

An Australian sheepdog called Tess is fighting for his life after saving his owner from a deadly snake attack, local media reported Wednesday. Tallebudgera Valley retiree Fay Palethorpe, 68, was in the garden of her huge property on the Gold Coast when she came across the two-meter eastern brown snake.
