Two women died and 13 people were injured on Sunday when they fell from inflatable sculpture half the size of a football field. They were among the 30 people inside the walk-in sculpture when a strong wind picked it up and took it nine meters into the air. Witness Mark Spooner told BBC television, "All of a sudden it just started rising like a balloon. (It was) flinging people all over. Then it just seemed to flip over in the air. "

The latest trend on the World Wide Web has emerged from the World Cup final and its called 'Head-butting. ' The cyber-term refers to Zinedine Zidane's head-butting of Marco Materazzi in the final match of the football World Cup, between France and Italy. The incident was apparently the result of a provocation by Materazzi - supposedly it was an insult to a couple members of Zidane's family.

Shots were fired after an argument heated up during a flag football game in Anchorage, Alaska. As the shots were being fired, other players and spectators began scrambling for the exits, even climbing a chain link fence to get out of the open-air Anchorage Football Stadium.

While most Brazilians were holding their breath during the game against Ghana, the three men parading naked on the streets.
