A parrot has spent five days under police "interrogation" in prison in Argentina in a related custody case. Two neighbors, Jorge Machado and R. Vega, were disputing ownership of the bird and locked in a fierce custody battle.

The world's oldest soccer ball is being sent to Germany for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The ball is 450 years old, and will sit in the center of a German exhibition on the history of the popular sport.

British soccer fans are getting some official help before they travel to Germany for the World Cup. The U. K. Foreign Office will help teach Englishmen German versions of terrace chants to sing in Berlin, as well as explaining some rules, and giving helpful translations.

Dutch cheese maker Pieter Wolters has an original idea for selling cheese from his German farm. He plans on creating a very unique football to celebrate the World Cup championship in Germany this summer. "I want to make a round cheese in the colors of a classic football in my cheese factory for sale to soccer fans," says Pieter Wolters.
