A 4-year-old girl, who dyed her hair in pink for the school parade, was not allowed to enter her Texas pre-school because of the color. When Natalyn Gracia dyed her hair in October, she liked it so much that she went to school with that.
The toddler's father, Ricardo Gracia, even touched up the color over the Christmas break, after the initial October application.
Gracia claims that he never received a warning letter from the Dalton Early Childhood Center that the hair color was "too extreme."
UPI quoted Gracia as saying that the school is being "too harsh, too abusive." The authorities at school are in the process of admitting Natalyn back in class sans the pink hair.
