Mariah Carey only records her new album at night. The "Hero" singer - who is currently working on her new record, entitled "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" - is driving record producers to distraction with her refusal to work during daylight hours. Mariah wrote on her page on social networking website Twitter in the early hours of Wednesday morning: "In the studio. driving the engineer crazy cos I'm a control freak and once again we're STARTING at 1:16 am..perfectly normal: ) (sic)"
Passengers Escape Burning Bus In Freak Accident
At least 22 passengers and one driver miraculously escaped certain death after the air-conditioned bus they were riding suddenly burst into flames Sunday morning while traveling along a national highway in Manila, Philippines. Reports said the all the 22 passengers managed to escape the burning bus, while hot flames already engulfed at least half of the vehicle.
Michigan Man Run Over By Own Car Trying To Save Wife, Unborn Child In Freak Accident Outside Library
A Farmington Hills, MI man was killed while saving his pregnant wife and unborn child during a freak accident outside the library. Hong Kong native David Shu-Kin Kwok was run over by the couple's mini van after getting out to assist his pregnant wife who had fallen while trying to get into the vehicle. In his rush, Kwok forgot to put the parking brake on and the vehicle and both he and his wife, Erika Kwok, were struck by the vehicle.
Car Hit By 2 Trains, Dutch Driver Survives
A 59-year-old Dutch motorist miraculously survived a freak accident Tuesday when the car the man was driving was hit successively by two trains in opposite directions. Police spokeswoman Desiree Brabers said the man was attempting to drive his car across a train track in Dorst, 84 miles south of Amsterdam when his car was hit by an eastbound train and dragged several meters.
Teenager Enjoys Bond With Python
A teenager from South Africa has developed an unusual yet strong bond with a 10-foot long Burmese long python, a bond that has been sustained for two years. The teenager, 11th-grader Simone Naidoo, got the python named Theo after falling in love with snakes at 10 years old. She saw the slithery creatures displayed at a window during a grade school fair.
