Brian Slocum from Litchfield, Nebraska was shocked when one of his cows gave birth to a "freak" Angus calf over the weekend. The calf that now grazes the fields has two extra legs coming out from the back. One is a front leg and the other is a back leg. The longer of the two extra legs doesn't touch the ground but they don't interfere with the calf's mobility.

A Casper man, unfamiliar with the workings of a new pistol he recently purchased ended up firing the weapon accidentally with the bullet striking yet another man using the bathroom in the next building. The bullet hit the man in the chest leaving a small bruise that did not require treatment. The bullet's speed was slowed after traveling through two walls, across a courtyard and rebounding off a shower wall.

An escaped chimp named Judy was so hungry that she raided a kitchen cupboard, but made sure that she cleaned the toilet and scrubbed the refrigerator before authorities caught her. The 120-pound chimpanzee escaped at the Little Rock Zoo Tuesday into a service area when a zookeeper opened a door to her sleeping quarters, without being aware of Judy's presence. As the authorities tried to sedate Judy, she played havoc with a refrigerator where chimp snacks are stored, opened kitchen cupboards and pulled out juice and soft drinks. She also managed to have a sip or two from the soft drinks.
