On July 5, the first special flight that will allow passengers to fly in their birthday suit, naked that is, will take off from Erfurt in Southeast Germany to its destination in the island of Usedom off Baltic Sea. "All the passengers will fly naked, but they are only allowed to undress once they are in the plane. But then they will be able to enjoy the hour-long flight in the way God intended," Enrico Hess, the founder of the travel company OssiUrlaub, has been quoted as saying.

Using improvised props and set design, a group of friends has transformed their garage into a film studio to recreate two Star Wars films. The group used household objects as scenery, toys as props and PC wizardry to recreate the special effects to produce spoof of two Star Wars movies, calling them The Empire Strikes Backyard and Star Wars - The Emperor's New Clones.

Aside from his extraordinary leadership skills which led to his being named "Person of the Year" by Time Magazine, Russian President Vladimir Putin will soon be recognized internationally for his athletic prowess. In particular his judo moves as he and an Olympic Japanese judo medalist will come out with an instructional video soon. Mr. Putin and Yasuhiro Yamashita shot the instructional video disc as a supplement to a judo manual. The disc is slated to be released on January or February, President Putin said Friday at the opening of a Toyota Motor Corporation's assembly plant near St. Petersburg.

The owners of a trout farm in Southampton were more than amazed to discover why they losing their fishes after a photographer caught on camera the trout fleeing one by one from the fishpond onto a nearby river. Capturing the fishes' escape with the aid of his camera, wildlife photographer Dennis Bright, 59, describe the scene as incredible.

City officials recently decided that the decorated tree in the Capital Rotunda will be known as the Wisconsin State Christmas Tree, and not a holiday tree. The 8-1 ruling by the Assembly State Affairs Committee was made in response to a proposal by a state lawmaker, calling for the tree to be known as a Christmas tree, and not a "holiday tree", for which it has been known since 1985.
