A Canadian baby is born every minute and 29 seconds, while a Canadian passes away every two minutes and 29 seconds. Given this trend of birth and deaths, Canada's population is expected to hit 33. 3 million by July 2008. For the Action Democratique du Quebec, the country's natural birth rate is not growing fast enough to spare the province from becoming a gray one. ACT believes a faster pace of economic growth can be achieved by Quebec if their women have more babies. ACT is suggesting at least two children per Quebec woman.

ewbury Park Primary School, located in Redbridge, northeast London, has a competitive edge that no other school in the world can probably equal-it teaches its 850 students 40 languages. According to British newspaper The Independent, the school has adopted a policy of teaching each language spoken by the 40 ethnic groups represented in the school.

MurderAuction. com, is a novelty site that rounds up and sells personal effects, artworks, paintings, letters, and other knick knacks owned by, or associated with infamous criminals in recent history to a niche market of crime memorabilia collectors.

The English language has almost reached the one-million-word mark, according to an expert running a website that tracks the language's development. Paul Payack of the Global Language Monitor says that the English language's expansion was greatly aided by the addition of email and Internet lingo. These technology-based means of communication, according to Payack, have resulted in the rise of now-common phrases at a significant speed.
