Officials said Wednesday that police officers were now trying to uncover details regarding the series of suicides in a Welsh town which were believed to be linked to an internet online network. The death of a 17-year-old teenage girl heightened the alert of police because in over a year, there have been six young men who took their own lives in the area.

Chinese couple caught on tape engaged in a torrid kiss is suing Shanghai Metro Co. for violation of privacy as their videotaped kissing engagement found its way to popular video-sharing websites such as YouTube. com. The video was shot at the Youyi subway station sometime in September and has received many 'hits' (15,000 in a couple of days) on the Internet, embarrassing the young couple immensely. In fact, the man in the video has resigned from his job after receiving many phone calls and snide remarks from relatives, friends and strangers alike.

A Jedi church is set to rise in Wales, that is if the plan of two avid Star Wars fanatics pushes through. Brothers Barney and Daniel Jones said they are planning to put up the Jedi church in Anglesey and hope that other "devotees" will join them. Barney, 26 and Daniel, 21, who wish to be addressed as Master Jonba Hehol and Master Morda Hehol respectively, have already made plans for the homilies they are to deliver as heads of the U. K. Church of the Jedi and these include sermons on The Force, light sabre training, and meditation techniques.

Loneliness is painful and potentially deadly, according to new research at the University of Chicago that found animals, gadgets and spiritual beliefs - not just friends - ease the sense of being alone. "It's actually a greater risk for morbidity or mortality than cigarette smoking is," says Nicholas Epley, Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science at the university's Graduate School of Business and lead author of an article on the subject in the February issue of the journal Psychological Science.

Television star Jeremy Paxman is waging his own crusade against Marks & Spencer citing the store's a dressing utter lack of 'support' for their underpants. The star of Newsnight star said he had personally sent an email to the store's chief, Stuart Rose regarding his concerns, and much to his delight, the store chief had invited him over for lunch to discuss his complaint.
