The world's most expensive dessert, Frrrozen Haute Chocolate, is sold at a staggering $25,000 per order, according to the Guinness Book Of World Records researchers.
The concoction was unveiled on Nov. 7 at the Serendipity-3 Restaurant in New York.
Frrrozen Haute Chocolate has toppled the Fortress Aquamarine, from Wine3 at the Fortress in Galle, Sri Lanka.
Fortress Aquamarine, priced at $14,500 was once considered the world's most expensive dessert. The focus of this sweet treat is an 80-carat aquamarine gem resting on a specially shaped fine chocolate highlighting the company's logo.
Frrrozen Haute Chocolate is meanwhile served in a mini elegant ice cream glass with matching "golden spoon" with embossed serendipity etching.
Witnesses to the launching event say that the frozen hot chocolate looks good and appealing to the eyes, but nobody can tell if it indeed tastes good - considering the price attached to it.
