Not sure of what to do after the bicycle she was riding started having problems, a Palm Beach, FL, woman stole a running car. Kathleen Mary Pedemonti now faces a grand theft auto charge, Florida Today reported Tuesday.

When her bicycle failed her on March 26, the 50-year-old woman jumped into a 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo that was left running in front of a Malabar Road Subway and simply drove away.

Police were able to trace the car, however, because its owner had a Global Positioning System tracker installed in it. Police used the signal to follow the car and found it parked in Pedemonti's driveway.

When questioned by police, Pedemonti kept repeating that she took the car when she had trouble riding her bicycle. She was taken to the Brevard County Jail Complex and is scheduled to appear in court on May 10.
