The new edition of the French comic book series, Asterix, has a political twist and make fun of the United States. Illustrator Albert Uderzo introduces aliens from a planet called Tadsylwine, an anagram of Walt Disney, with a leader called Hubs, an anagram of Bush.

Santa Claus must now abide by a strict code of conduct in order to preserve the holiday ideal. "We are trying to eradicate shoddy Santas," James Lovell of the Ministry of Fun agency tells Reuters. "Santa is a magical and cuddly man, not a fat, smelly slob," says Lovell, whose agency fills 500 Santa positions a year. "I even saw a Santa last year wearing trainers (sneakers). "

A new billboard campaign suggests tourists take a trip to Alaska before it's too late. The billboards, displayed in Seattle, Los Angeles and Minneapolis, largely suggest "Alaska B4UDIE'' - short for, Alaska, before you die. The Alaska Travel Industry Association launched the monthlong, $180,000 campaign Monday.

Billboard says many of the biggest hits with "Summer" in the title have peaked in the dead of winter. Billboard has come out with what it calls "the top 10 "summer" songs," which was based on chart performance on the Billboard Hot 100.
