Several women in a County Durham village hoping to help raise funds for charity are selling plates with painted images done not by their hands - but with their bare breasts. Covering their breasts with paint, the women paint images of pandas, cherries, Christmas puddings and bumblebees on plates which are later glazed and fired

Eagerly wanting to help raise funds for her village football team, a 102-year old woman agreed to pose nude for a charity calendar along with 11 other ladies. Draped with a pink cloth around her shoulders, Nora Hardwick, posed behind the bar of the Ermine Way pub in Ancaster, Lincolnshire, as the calendar's Miss November.

Filipino youths are finding a way to fight drug-induced "fun" with "Mardi-Drugs" a week-long activity, including cheering and street dance competition in the heart of the Philippines' financial center. Students from Makati City's 42 public and private school will commence the Mardi Drugs on Wednesday in an effort to launch an anti-drugs campaign not just based on slogans but also to provide the youth with an alternative fun. The activities are in line with the celebration of the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week.

Peggy Mcalpine, a British pensioner has set the world record as the oldest person to paraglide from the top of a 760-meter peak in the Five Finger mountains in northern Cyprus. She did it not just for fun, but to mark and celebrate the fond memories of her 100th birthday. "I had a wonderful time and I would love to do it again, but I will give it a few years and let someone else have a go at beating the record," Mcalpine was quoted as saying right after she leaped from the mountain range.
