Australian's may be practically naked during summer but that doesn't mean the countryman's sex lives are hot, hot, hot. According to a worldwide survey conducted by condom makers Durex, Australian's aren't having as much sex as their neighbors and rivals New Zealand, but are having more bedtime lovin' than the Japanese.

A California amusement park banned its riders from screaming on a ride known as The Screamer following complaints from neighbors that they were disturbed by the noises. The people living next door to Family Fun Center in Sacramento also complained that when the riders lifted their arms high into the air on the ride it could be viewed from their backyards, interfering with their privacy.

Fans of the supposedly infinite number "pi" are celebrating international pi day as they express their love for the string of trillions of digits. The day to celebrate the number event falls appropriately on March 14 or 3. 14, the approximated value of "pi. " Furthermore, the time for the event has been derived from the third and fourth digits after the decimal in the value of pi, i. e. , 1:59 p. m. As per the saying that celebrations can't go without any food and fun, the pi-themed foods and rap performances will be add to the geekiness of the event.

Animal services are up in arms about a Tampa-based fast food restaurant promotional stunt asking customers to dress their cats in specially designed take out bags. The bags were invented after Checkers restaurant saw that Rap Cat, a cat puppet used in Checkers advertising commercials, was gaining popularity.

In a bid to reclaim the record for the most snow angels made at one place, more than 8,000 people gathered on the state Capitol grounds in North Dakota on Saturday. The world record created in 2002 by North Dakota was snatched by Michigan in 2006. Among the participants were people of every age, right from infants to those in their late 90's. Pauline Jaeger said she bounced back 99 years and enjoyed the event. "It's fun," Jaeger, who turned 99 on Saturday told the AP. "I feel just like a kid. "
