Great California Garage Sale Begins Friday, Cash Poor State Unloading Thousands Of Items

California is holding a garage sale of sorts. The novel move to unload the cash strapped state's unnecessary items begins on Friday with deals galore for savvy shoppers looking to aid the Grizzly bear state.

The event, being held in the capital at a Sacramento warehouse, is being called the Great California Garage Sale, and according to state officials is the largest surplus sale since the state last rolled out its surplus of governmental goods shortly after Schwarzenegger was elected in 2004.

Suspicious Fire Destroys 32 Golf Carts At West Virginia Greens

A West Virginia golf club lost 32 golf carts to a suspicious fire on Friday morning and investigators suspect vandals were responsible for the $100,000 damage.

No one was injured in the fire at the Wheeling Country Club reported by a passing motorist at 4:30 a.m. Firefighters who arrived at the scene saw the golf carts in flames and put out the fire in half an hour.

Drew Barrymore Hounded By Squirrels At LA Home

Drew Barrymore is being hounded by squirrels. The "He's Just Not That Into You" actress was initially delighted when a trio of the furry critters began approaching her in her backyard, but is now worried they are taking over.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "At first three or four squirrels visited Drew when she went outside for a cigarette break - she called them Luke, Fab and Spike after a trio of her ex-boyfriends. But now more than a dozen flock to her each day."

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen's Apartment Plagued By Rats

Gisele Bundchen is being plagued by rats. The Brazilian supermodel screamed in horror after seeing one of the rodents which have infested her street, in New York's West Village area - where stars including Rupert Everett and Michael Cera also live.

A source said: "There's been a parade of big fat rats every night. You can hear shrieks from fighting rats and from girls walking by who see the rats."

Kate Moss is being "driven mad" by a flock of doves. The supermodel's London neighbor has been breeding the birds but they have been causing chaos by flying into her home, making a mess and even triggering her security system.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Kate is being driven mad by the doves.
