Arkansas Police Create Zany MySpace Profile Of Bank Robber, Aged 60, Hoping Someone Recognizes Him

Police searching for an alleged robber, suspected in at least four bank robberies across Arkansas, have turned to technology to catch him. Fort Smith police Sgt. Jarrard Copeland have created a profile of the man on the social networking Website MySpace, hoping someone will recognize him and inform police. Against a backdrop of $100 bills and soundtrack of "Citizens on Patrol," a text box in bright green describes the man as a "self employed criminal," around 60 years-old with average height and weight.

A California family is stunned at the recent sale of a painting that had hung for years in their home. The painting, which the seller had inherited from her grandmother, turned out to be a purported masterpiece by 17th-century Italian artist Pier Francesco Mola and was sold for unexpected price of $620,900. The unsigned painting, which shows a bearded man working on some papers, was sold Sunday by Clars Auction Gallery in Oakland to an unnamed New York dealer, who stood by the belief of art experts that it was the work of Mola, that may have been lost years earlier.

Meatballs cooked in his own liposuctioned body fat is the latest creation by shock artist Marco Evaristti. The Chilean-Danish artist calls the self-styled artwork displayed at the Animal Gallery in Santiago as his criticism of the plastic surgery market. According to The Santiago Times, Evaristti purposely underwent the liposuction procedure last year to create the artwork.
