Remember the days you had to watch what you wore because of the varying array of gang-affiliated colors? No more! One simple rule: don't wear white!
Chicago Police say the plain white T-shirt has now become the preferred color in gangmember attire.
What can the this latest trend be attributed to? Sergeant James Fiduccia calls it "urban camouflage," which gang members wear to blend-in while they sell drugs.
Fiduccia - who works for Chicago's Gang Intelligence Section - says the white T-shirt is being donned by different gangs when members are doing business.
He adds officers watching a recent picinic of suspected gang members saw 400 to 600 people all wearing white.
