Florida Gator fans found many ways to celebrate their team's victory over Ohio State Monday night. Perhaps the worst was the streaker who was critically injured after being struck by a motorist.

Matthew Schlagheck, 23, of Longwood was streaking through the streets around 1 a.m. Tuesday when George Harrison, 24, struck him with his vehicle. Police said Harrison did not seem to be drinking or using drugs but they are awaiting a blood test to be certain.

The accident occurred near the school's campus. Schlagheck was taken to Shands Hospital with head injuries.

Police spokesman Sgt. Keith Kameg said, "It's sad because things like this are so avoidable."
