The town of Axbridge, Somerset in the UK, has picked a 15-year-old homosexual boy to serve as their new carnival queen. David Bridge, who auditioned of front of the mayor of Axbridge, will be wearing a dress, tiara and high heels for the procession and to honor his crown.

The Vatican released a document on Tuesday, which condemned gay marriage, abortion, gay couples seeking children and other practices that go against the Church's concept of family, terming them symptoms of "the eclipse of God". The document reaffirmed the Church's conservative position on sexuality, marriage and life. It also said the concept of family is currently more exposed to danger than it has ever been in the past.

A prom is supposed to be a special night for high school students. One student didn't get to experience the fun because he showed up in a dress. Kevin Logan went to the West Side High School prom in Gary, Indiana, on Friday in a slinky fuchsia gown and heels.

A Chinese salesman has been sentenced to a year in prison for organizing sex parties for homosexuals through the Internet, Xinhua news agency said on Friday. The 33-year-old man, surnamed Zou, set up a Web site in 2005 and advertised sex parties for gays in Beijing, Xinhua said, quoting a local court.
