For some, their love for sports just doesn't end once the final whistle is blown. A soccer club in Germany is planning to set up a cemetery for those fans who wish to bring their love of the 'beautiful game' to the grave with them.

The cemetery will be built next to a soccer stadium in Hamburg and will have room for over 150 graves.

According to Ananova, Hamburg SV chairman Christian Reichert says: "It won't be full of colorful headstones and we don't want to turn the graveyard into a bazaar for fan merchandise, but it will be a place for true fans to find their final resting place."

Reichert also adds that memorial stones to some of the club's greatest players would also be erected in the cemetery.

A display of the club's emblem made from flower beds will be made, too.
