Expectant mothers in Germany were reported to be going to extreme measures to prevent them from giving birth before 2007.
According to reports, pregnant women in Germany were preventing the delivery of their babies before 2007 so they could receive the $2,552 per month handouts until the baby's first birthday.
Some of them are standing on their head in order to accomplish this.
A report by The Sun newspaper said that parents-to-be are swapping weird tips on how to postpone their labor in parent classes and online.
Expectant mother Antje Grimm said, "From Christmas I have been standing on my head."
