Gay Patient To Sue Hospital, Medical Team Over 'YouTube' Video

A gay patient from central Philippines is set to file formal charges against doctors and nurses of a hospital who posted over the Internet video-sharing site YouTube, a video of a medical procedure where doctors removed a perfume canister from his rectum. Worst, the video also showed the doctors and nurses, "cheering and shouting with excitement" as the canister was removed, which further ridiculed and embarrassed the victim, who remains unidentified.

Environmentalists, Households Question Continue Printing Of Phone Books

Environmentalists and households, among others, are now questioning the wisdom of printing 2,000 pages of phone numbers hardly touched by consumers who prefer speed dialing features of their mobile units or Internet search engines to find a contact number. A number of apartment buildings in South Boston reported 2008 editions of newly delivered phone books remain untouched in foyers.

ACT believes a faster pace of economic growth can be achieved by Quebec if their women have more babies. ACT is suggesting at least two children per Quebec woman.

Dog Honored For Donating Blood 20 Times

The Livingston County American Red Cross honored a 2-year old English Mastiff, who according to them had donated blood more than 20 times. The donations of the dog, named Lurch, had reportedly been of great help to the organization, as it had even aided in the recovery of a dog that ingested rat poison.

Convicted Mother Allowed To Raise Baby In Prison

A woman convicted of murder was given permission to take her infant daughter to prison with her, enabling her to look after the baby during her four-year sentence. Imprisoned for fatally shooting her common-law husband in their Prince George home back in 2006, Lisa Anne Whitford, 37, gave birth to her baby last March, while she was being held in custody.
