Police in Florida are all smiles after arresting a woman for unlawfully selling and fitting customers with gold teeth caps in a dirty back room. Customers have been coming to the Blue Diamond Jewelry shop for a month to get "grills," or jewelry for their mouth. Often, customers got more than they paid for when they developed severe infections following the unlicensed procedures.

A California homeowner admits he got carried away after digging a 60 foot hole in a search for buried gold. 10 days ago Henry Mora, 63 began digging in his yard when his gold detector began beeping near his patio. Mora told police he only intended to dig three to four feet but got "totally out of hand. "

What started as a dig for gold turned into a 60 foot dig. Beginning 10 days earlier, Henry Mora stated that he had begun digging for gold in his front yard after his gold detector reported a positive. He also stated that he only intended to dig about three to four feet though.

The Dutch police union has received dozens of official complaints from policewomen about their new uniform blouse which they say is see-through. The officers feel "uneasy" and "closely watched" while wearing the new garment, police union chairman Hans van Duijn told Monday's edition of the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper.

The residents of southeast Queensland were anxious when they mistook a bright, green ball of streaking light from a meteor to be a crashing plane. A police spokeswoman said the suspected meteor was seen traveling east to west in the region from Bribie Island, across the Sunshine and Gold Coasts as far inland as Warwick.
