A recent survey done on 3,000 Britons under the thought that World War II prime minister Winston Churchill was merely made up. The poll, which was conducted by UKTV Gold, concluded that the responses gathered reflected significant differences between the younger generation's view of history, and that of the older generation.

A poll commissioned by 20th Century Fox revealed the Star Wars weapon, the Light saber, is considered the best movie weapon in movie history. The weapon beat out other historic weapons made memorable in several movies, such as the crossbow from Robin Hood, the gold gun from James Bond: The Man With The Golden Gun, and the legendary machine gun used by Tony Montana in the classic gangster flick, Scarface.

A chain of hotels in United Kingdom on Thursday revealed a list of odd object left in their hotels last year which include among others, an urn full of human ashes, a glass eye, lucky charms, mayoral chains and even children. Travelodge reported that in the past year, they have recovered so many unusual objects left behind by their clients.

Charles "Red" Matson received fudge from his daughter to cheer him up after a recent illness. The chocolate, bought at a bake sale in West Lafayette, was sweet and luscious. It also has an unexpected bonus - a diamond ring.

Once a Girl Scout, always a Girl Scout and Faith Iames Schremp of Wausau, Wisconsin proves this. A model scout during her younger years, Schremp, now 86, finally received her Golden Eaglet Award on Saturday, 69 year after she was supposed to obtain it.
