Everything from movie deals to claims from other countries that the booty is theirs have come at owners of Odyssey Marine Exploration, who said Friday that this discovery finally proves they are a legitimate business.

Odyssey Marine Exploration deep-sea explorers found a shipwreck that yielded 17-tons of colonial-era gold and silver coins in an undisclosed area in the ocean. They brought the booty to the surface in plastic containers to be analyzed.

Police in Dandre Turk's jail cell in Canton, Ohio discovered a diamond ring worth $30,000 from a toilet after they suspected a man of swallowing it. Four men from 18 to 22 years of age from Detroit were charged Wednesday for robbery in a jewelry store near Canton.
