Man's best friend turned into his worst nightmare, as a Grate Dane from Memphis, Tennessee accidentally shot his owner in the back. The excited King George, who weighs a 150-pound, accidentally knocked a .22-caliber pistol off his owner's end table around 2:30 am. Wednesday.

According to local newspapers, the gun immediately went off, hitting the 21-year-old owner in the back. The man, whose identity is not yet revealed, is in critical condition Wednesday at a local hospital.

Police has however not filed any charges in the shooting, which has been ruled as accidental. The shooting occurred in the Raleigh section of Memphis.
