To see is to believe, but how can an 85-year old blind man confirm what his friends saw? Robert Dunham is still having a hard time believing what his fellow golfers told him; despite his disability and age, he did a hole in one!According to CityNews. ca, Dunham, legally blind at 85, was playing golf late last week in his hometown of Green Valley, Arizona, when he did the extraordinary feat on a three-par course.

A couple who moved into a house in Spoleto three years ago are now threatening to file a lawsuit against the former owners, who according to them did not mention that the house was haunted. The couple, Gaetano and Stefania Bastianelli, said that the house that they paid €120,000 (US$190,000) for at first seemed like a bargain deal, with all the furniture and even the kitchenware left over.

ubergine has bumped off sprouts as children's most hated vegetable, according to 2,300 kids polled by Heinz. Based on survey results, some 39 percent dislike the dark vegetable. Eggplant has replaced the once most hated vegetable, which is now in second place - brussel sprouts, disliked by 37 percent of the children. The third most hated veggie is celeriac at 32 per cent, followed by cabbage (16 percent) and mangetout (12 percent).

As thousands of Irish citizens took to the streets in celebration of St. Patrick's Day, several leaders have raised concerns about the need for people to practice restraint when drinking during the celebration. Local authorities announced that they will be keeping a closer eye on people's drinking consumption for this year's celebration, in an effort to avoid incidents such as street fighting or drunk driving - events that have reportedly occurred in the past, right after the celebrations.

Japan's penchant for robots is coming to the aid of allergy sufferers. Weathernews Inc has created 12-inch spherical robots with eyes that flash colors to alert of the presence of cedar or cypress pollen. The eyes flash white, green, blue, purple or red depending on pollen concentration.
