It came as a shock for pregnant Stephanie Green when she was leaving for the hospital to get induced for her delivery but instead ended up giving birth to her second child in a car. It was the second time in 17 months; Green had baby Zaria Tuesday while en route to a hospital. "I thought I was gonna make it this time, but she changed all that very quickly," Green told AP.

Britain's Prince Charles and his wife Camilla paid a surprise visit to a sweetshop to stock up on jelly babies during their tour of Northern Ireland on Wednesday. The prince and the Duchess of Cornwall - who are enjoying a two-day tour of the region - picked up a bag of the sugary delights and a packet of throat lozenges, much to the surprise of Ulster shopkeeper Gerald Monaghan. Gerald told the Belfast Telegraph: "I asked which sweet was his favorite and he picked 'Throat and Chest' because he said he had a sore throat.

Britain's Prince Charles' new waxwork was created in the 'greenest' way possible. Staff at London's Madame Tussauds museum took every effort to ensure the updated statue was as environmentally friendly as the 58-year-old royal himself. A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Tussauds thought it would be appropriate to ensure our Prince Charles was green.

It was a luck day for a 26-year-old student from Madison, Wisconsin when a delivery truck ran over his head, and he was able to walk away unharmed. Ryan Lipscomb says he was "confused" especially after he saw the condition of his crushed helmet. The incident took place on Friday afternoon when Lipscomb, a graduate student in medical physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, was riding his bicycle. As he approached an intersection where he said he had a green light, he noticed the truck ready to make a right turn in front of him.

Police caught a young alligator sunbathing near a pond in Long Island, N. Y. on Saturday. According to published reports, a woman leading a nature group in the Huntington part of Long Island discovered the alligator and alerted the police.
